Hi, I’m roni.
Here’s a little about me.
I’m a mom to four kids - 2 boys & 2 girls. The Pacific Northwest is where I call home. When it’s sunny, I love to be outside hiking, running, paddle boarding, wandering, etc. When it’s not sunny (most of the year) I still like to go outside, but I also like to sit inside with a good book and a cup of Earl Grey - preferably from Smith Teamaker.
I have a BA in Ministry from Corban and am almost done with my masters in Organizational Leadership from Grand View University. I hold coaching, consulting, and facilitator certificates from Grand View University. I was mentored by Dr. Paul Leavenworth, founder of the Convergence Group. I am also an adjunct ministry professor at Corban University.
Enough about me. Tell me about you!
Coaching that is…
-
passionate
When teams are functioning at the best, the community as a whole benefits. My passion is watching teams succeed, leaders lead, and communities thrive.
-
Bespoke
No two teams are alike; no two leaders are alike. Every coaching session and training is designed to fit the needs of the organization and the individual.
-
holistic
This is a process. Coaching is built around identifying goals, crafting a plan to reach them, and navigating the path forward together.
My Approach
It all begins with hearing what you have to say. No two clients or organizations are alike, so the first step is understanding your situation and your goals for this next season, or your career. Part of the plan typically involves some light reading or assignments. We meet at set intervals - either in person or online - for ~45 minutes to follow up on your progress and keep you on track towards your goals.
Team focused, team lead
Using the IDEA framework, we work though exploring the issues at hand, ideas and opinions for working though it, and how to apply those ideas in a meaningful way that allows for accountability. Coaching is based off you and your team, not some book or binder.
Built around life
Life happens - it’s happening right now. Coaching is meant to integrate into your life, not consume it. The techniques and methodologies found within coaching don’t just apply to the workplace, these principals work all throughout your life.

Roni was my coach during a time of transition in my profession. My favorite thing about meeting with Roni was that it didn’t feel like work. It was conversational, relaxing, and freeing. I always felt safe to speak my mind without judgement. She genuinely listened to my struggles, confusions, and concerns- all the while helping me to weave them together into a coherent thought.

Roni is great at pulling resources that can be used in a coaching session from her years of academic experience. I am a visual learner and really benefited from the diagrams and activities she provided. But most of all, I appreciated her commitment to giving her undevided attention during a session. She listened, encouraged, and held me accountable

I found Roni’s coaching to be a compassionate launchpad for helping me to understand and achieve my own goals. Her expertise in fostering self-discovery, coupled with her thoughtful support and encouragement, helped me gain clarity on my aspirations and develop a roadmap towards my true priorities. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who is seeking impactful change in their own lives as well.

what is a cairn?
From the mountains of the Himalaya to the forests of the PNW, humans have used cairns as route finding tools for thousands of years. Cairns are small stacks of rocks used to mark a trail and help people find their way. Kind of fitting, right?
